Day 01: NJP Rly Station / IXB Airport – Darjeeling (75 km / 3 hrs)
  • Arrival at NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport

  • Drive to Darjeeling (6,950 ft)

  • Hotel check-in and rest

  • Overnight stay at Darjeeling
  • Early morning (4:00 AM) visit Tiger Hill (subject to permit availability)

  • After breakfast (from 8:30 AM), visit:

    • Himalayan Mountaineering Institute

    • P.N. Zoological Park (closed Thursdays)

    • Tenzing Rock, Ropeway

    • Tibetan Refugee Centre (closed Sundays)

    • Tea Garden (outer view), Japanese Temple

  • Overnight stay at Darjeeling
  • Transfer to Kalimpong (4,091 ft) – 2.5 hrs drive

  • Hotel check-in

  • Afternoon sightseeing:

    • Mangal Dham

    • Deolo Hill, Golf Course

  • Visit Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft) and Baba Mandir (13,200 ft)

  • Road conditions in North Sikkim are tough; Innova Crysta not recommended

  • Early morning trip to Gurudongmar Lake (17,100 ft) via Thangu

    • Considered the 2nd highest lake in the world

    • Snow-covered from December to April

    • Holy lake for both Hindus and Buddhists

  • Return to Lachen by afternoon for lunch

  • Rest of the day at leisure

  • Dinner and Overnight stay at Lachen
  • Drive to Lachung (8,738 ft) via scenic mountain routes

  • Check-in at hotel, lunch on arrival

  • Leisure time in the valley

  • Overnight stay at Lachung

  • Early morning drive to Yumthang Valley (12,000 ft / 26 km / 1.5 hrs one way)

    • Known as the Valley of Flowers

    • Summer grazing ground for yaks, winter playground for yetis

  • On the return journey:

    • Visit the Hot Spring (known for medicinal properties)

  • Return to hotel at Lachung for lunch

  • Post lunch, drive to Gangtok (5,500 ft)

    • Weather permitting, enjoy panoramic views of Mt. Khangchendzonga from Singhik View Point

  • Arrive and check-in at Gangtok

  • Overnight stay at Gangtok
  • After breakfast, check out from hotel

  • Drive to NJP Railway Station / Bagdogra Airport

  • Departure for onward journey
