Itinerary
Day 1 – Arrival in Podgorica | City Orientation
Upon arrival, meet & greet service followed by a private transfer to the hotel (approx. 25 minutes).
In the afternoon, enjoy a gentle panoramic orientation tour of Podgorica, including:
- Millennium Bridge
- George Church
The tour is designed with minimal walking and easy access stops, offering a soft introduction to the destination.
Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Day 2 – Lake Skadar | Sveti Stefan | Budva - Panoramic Coastal Experience
After breakfast, proceed to Lake Skadar (approx. 50 minutes) – a protected national park and the largest lake in the Balkans.
- Leisure stop by the lake with optional short boat experience (weather permitting)
- Time for coffee in a tranquil natural setting
Continue along the Adriatic coast (approx. 50 minutes):
- Photo stop at Sveti Stefan, one of the most iconic landmarks in the region
- Visit Budva (approx. 20 minutes), including a relaxed exploration of the Old Town
Return to Podgorica (approx. 1h 20 minutes) in the afternoon.
Day 3 – Tivat & Kotor Bay (UNESCO Heritage)
Departure towards the Bay of Kotor, one of the most scenic areas in the Adriatic.
- Stop in Tivat to visit Porto Montenegro (approx. 1h 30 minutes) – flat walking area, ideal for senior guests
- Continue to Kotor (approx. 30 minutes) – Explore the Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its medieval architecture and Venetian influence
The visit is adapted with short walking routes. Return to Podgorica (approx. 1h 30 minutes).
Day 4 – Niagara Waterfall | Leisure & Shopping
Morning excursion to Niagara Waterfall (approx. 30 minutes), located along the Cijevna River.
- Easy access from parking area
- Relaxed coffee break in a natural setting
Return to the city for a leisurely shopping experience at Delta City Mall. Afternoon at leisure.
Day 5 – Shkodër | Shirokë | Lake Experience (Albania)
After breakfast, proceed towards Albania.
Arrival in Shkodër (approx. 50 minutes), one of the oldest cultural centers in the country.
- Photo stop at Rozafa Castle (optional access)
- Short visit to the pedestrian area (flat terrain)
Continue to Shirokë:
- Lakeside lunch in a traditional setting
- Optional short boat ride on Lake Shkoder
Day 6 – Lake Belsh | Berat (UNESCO) | Scenic Journey to Sarandë
Departure towards Berat, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, renowned as the ‘City of a Thousand Windows,’ where beautifully preserved Ottoman houses cascade down the hillside, creating a unique architectural harmony.
Lake Belsh – Coffee Stop (approx. 2h 30 minutes)
Short stop at Lake Belsh, a peaceful area in central Albania known for its cluster of small natural lakes. Enjoy a relaxing coffee break by the lakeside.
Berat (approx. 40 minutes):
- Visit of the historic quarters, Mangalem & Gorica
- Coffee break overlooking the Osum River
Continue south with a scenic drive, with a stop at Uji i Ftohër Tepelenë (approx. 2 hours).
Arrival in Sarandë (approx. 1 hour). Enjoy free time to walk along the Saranda promenade, with a wide selection of restaurants and cafés.
Day 7 – Ksamil Coast | Gjirokas tër (UNESCO Heritage)
Morning excursion to Ksamil (approx. 30 minutes), one of the most stunning coastal destinations in southern Albania, known for its crystal-clear turquoise waters and small islands. Often referred to as the “Maldives of Europe.”
Enjoy a seaside and swim at your own leisure.
Continue to Gjirokastër (approx. 1 hour):
- Visit the historic Old Bazaar
- Time at leisure for coffee and local exploration
The visit is adapted for minimal walking. Return to Sarandë (approx. 1 hour).
Day 8 – Blue Eye | Tirana City Experience | Farewell Dinner
Visit to Blue Eye (approx. 40 minutes):
- Access via local tourist train, minimizing walking distance
- Time to enjoy the natural surroundings
Continue to Tirana (approx. 3h 30 minutes). City highlights include:
- Skanderbeg Square – Main square and heart of the city
- Et’hem Bey Mosque – Historic mosque with beautiful frescoes
- National History Museum – Overview of Albania’s history
- Bunk’Art 2 – Museum in a former communist bunker
- Blloku Area – Lively district with cafés and restaurants
- Pyramid of Tirana – Iconic communist-era landmark, now a cultural space
Evening farewell dinner at Kazerma e Cerenit, offering a traditional Albanian culinary experience in a relaxed rural setting.
Day 9 – Departure
