9 Nights – 10 Days Tbilisi – Kazbegi – Telavi (Kakheti) – Batumi – Borjomi – Tbilisi

Itinerary

Day 1: TBS Airport to Tbilisi Hotel

Approx. Distance: 10 Km

Pick up from Tbilisi International Airport and Direct Transfer to Hotel.

 09:00 – You will meet the Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby, the route will take over the Georgian Military Highway up North, towards the border with Russia.

10:30 – You will reach Jhinvali Water reservoir created during the soviet era. You will spend 20 minutes there and promptly continuing your way to Ananuri complex, a former residence of Argveti Dukes.

11:00 – You will reach Ananuri complex. The complex features churches and towers dating back to the 16-17th centuries, beautifully overlooking the Jhinvali reservoir. Because of local uprising and clashes Ananuri was controlled by different Dukes. In the complex you will see two churches from 17th century. The older one was built in 1689 and has sophisticated ornaments of grapes and crosses symbolizing soul of Georgian culture. You will spend about 40 minutes there.

11:30 – Continue your drive to see the conjunction of two small mountain rivers famous for the fact that being different in colour they still keep their own colours even after merge. Continuing on the way you will have a chance to taste the mineral mountain springs in Mleta.

13:00 – You will reach Gudauri and spend about 2-3 hours there. We will drive over the Cross Pass and make a short stop at the Soviet-era “People’s Friendship” mountain view point overlooking a deep gorge of Caucasus mountain range. There you will have lunch break and free time for activities

17:00 – Transfer to Kazbegi

10:00 AM – You will meet your driver at your hotel lobby in Kazbegi (Stepantsminda).

10:30 PM – Arrive at Gergeti Trinity Church, a magnificent 14th-century church perched at an altitude of 2,170 meters above sea level. Surrounded by the breath-taking Caucasus Mountains and overlooked by Mount Kazbek, it is one of Georgia’s most iconic landmarks and offers spectacular panoramic views.

12:30 PM – Continue to the picturesque Juta Village, one of the highest permanently inhabited villages in Georgia. From here, begin your scenic hike towards the magnificent Chaukhi Massif, often referred to as the “Georgian Dolomites” for its dramatic jagged peaks.

14:00 PM – Continue to the beautiful alpine lake and the small waterfall beneath the Chaukhi Mountains. Enjoy free time to admire the spectacular landscapes, take photographs, and immerse yourself in the tranquility of nature before hiking back to Juta Village.

15:30 PM – Return to your hotel in Kazbegi (Stepantsminda).

09:00 – Meet your driver and guide at the hotel lobby in Kazbegi and begin your journey towards Kakheti, Georgia’s famous wine region.

12:30 – Visit Bodbe Monastery, a peaceful convent surrounded by beautiful gardens and panoramic views of the Alazani Valley. According to tradition, it is the burial place of St. Nino, who introduced Christianity to Georgia in the 4th century. Spend time exploring the monastery grounds and enjoying the tranquil atmosphere.

13:30 – Arrive in Sighnaghi, known as the “City of Love” and one of Georgia’s most charming royal towns. Walk along the ancient defensive walls with 23 towers, admire the colourful balconies, and enjoy breath-taking views over the Kakheti vineyards.

15:00 – Visit a traditional Georgian winery (KTW) and learn about local wine-making traditions preserved for centuries. Enjoy tasting some of Kakheti’s famous wines and discover the unique Qvevri wine-making method.

17:00 – Continue the drive towards Telavi, the heart of the Kakheti region.

18:30 – Arrive at your hotel in Telavi and check in. Overnight stay in Telavi.

Note: On request, you can stop in the village of Badiauri to taste freshly baked Georgian bread and local cheese, or even participate in a traditional bread-making activity. You can inform your driver in advance if you would like to include this experience.

KAKHETI WINERY

10:00 AM – Meet your Driver at hotel in Telavi and begin your Kakheti sightseeing tour.

10:30 AM – Visit Gremi Monastery, the 16th-century royal citadel of the Kingdom of Kakheti. Explore the Church of the Archangels, the fortress ruins, and enjoy panoramic views of the Alazani Valley.

11:45 AM – Continue to Nekresi Monastery, one of Georgia’s oldest monastic complexes, beautifully situated on the slopes of the Greater Caucasus. Discover its peaceful surroundings, ancient churches, and breathtaking valley views.

1:15 PM – Arrive at Ilia Lake, a scenic lakeside destination surrounded by vineyards and mountains. Enjoy a relaxing walk and take in the tranquil natural scenery.

2:00 PM – Lunch break at a local restaurant (optional).

3:30 PM – Visit the elegant Tsinandali Estate, the former residence of Prince Alexander Chavchavadze. Explore the historic palace, beautifully landscaped gardens, and the famous wine cellar

5:30 PM – Depart from Tsinandali and drive back to Telavi.

6:00 PM – Arrive at your hotel in Telavi.

Approx. Distance: 120 Km

10:00 Am – You will meet the Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby and tour will start

12:30 Pm – you will explore city of Tbilisi and have local tour. You will explore Metekhi church and the monument to King Vakhtang Gorgasali, the legendary founder of Tbilisi. Walk down to the Rike Park and Cross the Peace Bridge.

Take cable car from Rike Park to Narikala Fortress to enjoy breath-taking panoramic view of the city and statue of Mother Georgia standing above the old Tbilisi. Walk down to the district of Sulphur baths passing by the only mosque in Tbilisi. Stroll through the Meidan Square area full of narrow streets with cozy cafés, wine tasting bars, souvenir shops, and breathe in the living past. It will take about 5 hours (including lunch break)

15:30Pm -Transfer to hotel

16:00Pm – End of the tour

09:00Am – You will meet the Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby and tour will start

13:00 Pm – The tour starts with Prometheus cave- Famous cave near Kutaisi with amazing settings. There are 22 halls found, where just 6 halls are open for tourists. It is possible to walk through the length of 1420 meters in the cave’s territory visit the halls and enjoy time here.

Discover real masterpieces of nature – stalactites and stalagmites at Prometheus Cave, which are the most beautiful forms created by nature.

15:00 PM You will reach Martvili and explore Martvili Canyon which offers a splendid and unique environment. It is 2400 m in length and 20-40 m in depth with a 12-meter-high waterfall in the middle of the canyon. Here you will encounter fossilized bones of animals inhabiting the land in pre-historic era.

Additionally, there are traces of primary human in several grotto of canyon. Once, serving as a bath place for royal Dadiani family, today Martvili Canyon attracts people by its spectacular view, sparkling waterfalls and vibrant green subtropical nature

17:00 PM Lunch break

20:00 PM Overnight in Batumi

Note: The boat ride in Martvili is highly dependent on weather conditions. Due to high water levels, it may sometimes be inaccessible. Therefore, it is not included in the price unless specified in the extra services.

10:00Am – You will meet the Driver and Guide in your hotel lobby and start the tour.

10:40Pm – You will reach Batumi Botanical Garden. Boasting one of the widest varieties of flora in the world, Batumi Botanical Garden was established in 1912 by the prominent botanist and geographer Andrey Krasnov. The garden is 111 hectares and contains flora from nine phyto-geographic areas. You will spend there about 1 hour

12:20Pm – You will reach Batumi city and have local tour. Batumi is the largest city of region. An outstanding architecture of Batumi, its statues, palm trees, nature resorts, amusement parks, unique and stylish cafes, pubs, bars and night clubs create an amazing atmosphere in the whole City.

The places you will visit includes Europe Square, where decorative, historical and modern buildings come together as one; Alphabetic Tower, which is a 130 meters high, modern steel sculpture shaped as DNA molecule and depicting unique Georgian alphabet; the sculpture of Ali and Nino, portraying the love story of young people from different cultural and religious backgrounds; Batumi Ferris Wheel, offering the panoramic view of the whole city, decorated with numerous light patterns which are illuminated at night; Piazza, located in historical district of the city where the narrow streets are covered in the cobble stones all around, along with local cafes, pubs and bars. You will spend there about 4 hours(including lunch time)

17:00Pm – End of the tour

Approx. Distance: 450 Km

10:00 – you will meet your driver and guide at hotel Lobby – and head to Tbilisi and on the way you will visit Borjomi

13:30 – You will reach Borjomi. Borjomi has many hotels and was very popular in soviet times, of which you will still find many buildings in the city. Above the center of the city there lies a plateau with a Ferris wheel and further hotels, providing a great view over the region and mountains. You will spend about 2 hour in Borjomi(including lunch break) and after enjoying your time in the City Amusement Park you will continue your road to Akhaltsikhe 14:30 – Transfer to Bakuriani

16:30 – You will head to Tbilisi. –19:00 – Drop off at hotel- overnight in Tbilisi

Pick up from Hotel and Direct Transfer to Tbilisi International Airport and Departure.
