Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival & Sunset River Safari
– Arrive at Kasane Airport or transfer from Victoria Falls (approx. 1.5 hrs by road)
– Transfer to your lodge.
Afternoon:
– Check-in, relax, and enjoy lunch with views of the Chobe River.
Evening:
– Sunset Cruise on the Chobe River – a highlight of the park.
– Spot elephants swimming, hippos, crocodiles, and flocks of birds.
– Ideal for photography with golden light and reflections.
Overnight: Chobe Riverfront Lodge.
Day 2 – Game Drive & Leisure
Morning:
– Early morning game drive in Chobe National Park.
– Best time to see predators like lions and leopards.
– Large herds of elephants and buffalo are often seen near water.
Midday:
– Return to lodge for brunch.
– Relax by the pool, enjoy the spa (if available), or birdwatch from your deck.
Afternoon:
– Second boat safari to enjoy some more wildlife viewings and the sunset

Day 3 – Full-Day Safari Experience
Option 1:
– Full-day game drive with packed lunch into the deeper parts of Chobe.
– Explore the Savuti Marsh area (if staying in the Savuti region or as a longer safari option).
Option 2:
– Split day: Morning game drive, afternoon boat cruise or photography safari.
Evening:
– Sundowners and bush dinner (some lodges offer private outdoor dining under the stars – always an optional extra if available).
Overnight: Chobe Riverfront Lodge.
Day 4 – Chobe to Okavango Delta
Morning:
– Final short game drive or river cruise (depending on flight time).
Late morning:
– Breakfast and checkout.
– Transfer to Kasane Airport or onward travel to Okavango Delta.
– Arrive at Okavango Delta airstrip after a short flight 60-90 minutes. Transfer to your camp/lodge.
Midday:
– Enjoy your lunch at the camp with scenic view of the delta. Maybe, you will view some wildlife from the decks of the camp.
Afternoon:
– Enjoy your first mokoro ride, gliding through delta channels on traditional dugout canoes guided by local polers
Evening:
– Savour a bush dinner or intimate meal in the dining area, followed by stargazing around the boma fire.
Overnight: Luxury tent with indoor bath and outdoor shower.
Day 5 – Wildlife & Cultural Exploration
Early Morning:
– Head out on a game drive into the private concession bordering the camp – chances to spot elephants, buffalo, lion, maybe even black rhino
Late Morning:
– Return for brunch and downtime—relax by the pool, or enjoy the tranquil surroundings.
Afternoon:
Choose two experiences:
– Another mokoro trip or nature walk along water channels.
– Guided walking safari on island trails close to camp.
– Alternatively, visit a nearby village for a cultural excursion
Evening:
– Enjoy evening sundowners, followed by dinner under the stars in the main lounge or by a fire pit.
Overnight:
– Luxury tent with indoor bath and outdoor shower
Day 6 – Okavango to Kalahari Desert
Early Morning:
– One last activity—game drive or mokoro—to soak up the delta’s beauty.
Mid-Morning:
– Return for breakfast, pack up, and prepare for departure.
Late Morning:
– Transfer by road (90-120 minutes) or helicopter (optional extra) to Maun Airport. Transfer to another 4×4 vehicle for onward transfers to Gham Dhao Camp. Optional helicopter transfers available.
Midday:
– Check in at the camp with a welcome drink. Relax in your luxury tent before enjoying lunch at the camp
Afternoon:
– Enjoy your first game drive in open‑sided vehicles across the private concession—prime for spotting oryx, wildebeest, eland, kudu, brown hyena, and the occasional leopard.
Evening:
– Sip sundowners as the sun dips over the dunes, followed by a classic bush dinner in the outdoor boma. Later, unwind under the astonishing Kalahari night sky
Overnight: Luxury tent
Day 7 – Wildlife & San Culture
Early Morning:
– Head out on another game drive, venturing along the private concession and boundary of Central Kalahari—look out for predators like lion or brown hyena
Mid-morning:
– Return for brunch followed by relaxation on the sundeck or lounge. You can view wildlife from the lodge’s waterhole
Afternoon:
– Immerse yourself in a guided walk with the San, learning ancient survival skills in the bush, or take a night drive to spot nocturnal wildlife
Evening:
– Cap the day with another elegant al‑fresco dinner and stargazing from the elevated deck.

Day 8 – Final Safari & Departure
Early Morning:
– Enjoy one last activity—either a short game drive or San walk.
Late Morning:
– Breakfast, pack, and transfer to the airstrip.
