The 14-day Kailash Mansarovar Yatra begins with a warm arrival in Kathmandu followed by a soulful visit to Pashupatinath and Budhanilkantha as you prepare for the sacred journey ahead. From Kathmandu, the route takes you through the serene hills of Nepal to Syabrubeshi and onward to the Tibet border at Kerung. As you travel deeper into Tibet toward Saga, the vast landscapes, high passes, and lakes introduce you to the spiritual silence of the Himalayas. After acclimatizing in Saga, you continue to the divine shores of Mansarovar Lake, where pilgrims perform holy baths, puja, and meditation in the presence of nature’s purest energy. From Mansarovar, the journey moves to Darchen, the base of the revered Kailash Parvat, marking the beginning of the challenging yet transformative Parikrama. The trek from Yamadwar to Diraphuk offers breathtaking views of the south and west faces of Mount Kailash. Crossing the formidable Dolma La Pass, the highest point of the Yatra, and descending past the sacred Gauri Kund, adds both challenge and deep spiritual significance. Completing the Parikrama at Zuthulphuk fills the heart with fulfillment as the journey returns through Saga and Kerung. Finally, you re-enter Nepal and arrive back in Kathmandu, concluding the pilgrimage with profound memories and a renewed spiritual essence.
