Itinerary
DAY 01: SAO PAULO (City Tour)
• Arrival in Sao Paulo and transfer to your hotel
• Afternoon city tour covering downtown (oldest area), Higienopolis, Pacaembu Stadium, Faculty of Medicine, Butantan Institute, Palace of Bandeirantes, Morumbi Stadium, Jardins district, Ibirapuera Park, and Paulista Avenue
• Return to hotel
DAY 02: SAO PAULO / MANAUS (Amazon Jungle)
• Transfer to the airport for flight to Manaus (arrival must be before 13:00 hrs)
• Arrival and boat transfer to Amazon Ecopark Lodge
• Visit to Monkey Jungle rehabilitation center
• Night canoe tour for alligator spotting and listening to jungle sounds
DAY 03: AMAZON JUNGLE
• Morning tour to the “Meeting of the Waters” where Rio Negro and Rio Solimões flow together without mixing
• Afternoon visit to the home of local Amazonian residents (“caboclos”) with an opportunity for fishing
• Return to lodge
DAY 04: AMAZON JUNGLE / MANAUS / SALVADOR
• Morning at leisure
• Transfer to Manaus airport (departure must be after 13:00 hrs)
• Flight to Salvador and transfer to hotel
DAY 05: SALVADOR (City Tour)
• Historical city tour of Salvador including Barra Lighthouse, Teatro Castro Alves, Forte de São Pedro, Praça Castro Alves and the Pelourinho (Historical Center)
• Panoramic views of over 1,000 colonial buildings and churches
• Afternoon at leisure
DAY 06: SALVADOR / RIO DE JANEIRO
- Transfer to the airport for flight to Rio de Janeiro
- Arrival in Rio and transfer to your hotel
DAY 07: RIO DE JANEIRO (Sugar Loaf and Corcovado Tour)
• Full-day tour visiting Sugar Loaf and Corcovado Mountains with Christ the Redeemer statue
• Panoramic tour of downtown Rio including Sambodrome, Metropolitan Cathedral, and Cinelandia
• Cable car ride to Sugar Loaf with views of Guanabara Bay, Urca Hill, and Copacabana
• Train ride through Tijuca Forest to Corcovado
DAY 08: RIO DE JANEIRO (Ginga Tropical Show with Dinner)
• Day at leisure to enjoy Rio’s beaches and city
• Evening barbecue dinner at a Brazilian Churrascaria
• Attend the Ginga Tropical Show highlighting dances and traditions from all Brazilian regions
• Return to hotel after the show
DAY 09: RIO DE JANEIRO / IGUAZU FALLS
• Transfer to the airport for flight to Iguazu Falls
• Arrival in Iguazu and transfer to hotel
DAY 10: IGUAZU FALLS (Argentine Side)
• Full-day tour to the Argentine side of Iguazu Falls
• Explore three levels of trails offering views from base to top of the falls
• Free time to enjoy the park, nature, and photography
• Return to hotel
DAY 11: IGUAZU FALLS (Brazilian Side) – END OF TOUR
• Morning tour to the Brazilian side of Iguazu Falls
• Visit includes scenic walkways offering panoramic views of the falls
• Transfer to the airport for departure
